Pat is an experienced clinical endocrinologist and bone specialist. He has been associated with Auckland Bone Density since becoming one of the four founding partners in 1994. He has been Executive Director since 2000 and also remains actively involved as a clinical specialist and teacher.

Associate Professor Geoff Braatvedt is an Endocrinologist, Diabetologist and Physician working at Green Lane and Auckland City Hospitals and in private practice at the Mercy Specialist Centre. He has been a Director and reporting Doctor with Auckland Bone Densitometry for 12 years.

Professor Ian Reid is a Professor of Medicine and Endocrinology at Auckland Medical School and a prominent figure in international bone research. Ian has been working with us for the past 12 years and his commitment as both owner and active physician in the Company further adds to our strengths.

Associate Professor Andrew Grey has spent the last decade in bone research, both at Auckland University and Yale University in the USA. He has returned as an Assoc. Professor in Endocrine Medicine at the Medical School, and an Endocrinologist at Auckland Hospital, where he maintains a particular interest in the clinical aspects of bone diseases.

Brandon is an endocrinologist based at Counties Manukau DHB. Brandon has a research background at the University of Auckland (Professor Ian Reid's group) and since moving to Middlemore Hospital in 2001 has headed their Endocrinology and Diabetes service. He provides clinical leadership at Counties Manukau DHB, and is involved in national quality and guideline programs in diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Associate Professor Warwick Bagg is an endocrinologist who has worked with ABD since (2004). He is a clinician at ADHB and has a lead role in medical education at the University of Auckland.

Dr Ian Holdaway is honorary Professor of Endocrinology at the Auckland University School of Medicine, and an Endocrinologist at Greenlane and Auckland Hospitals. He has 140 scientific papers published in the medical literature and is past President of the NZ Society of Endocrinology. Together with Drs Frengley, Fenton and Grigor he started Auckland Bone Density as the first privately available bone density service in Auckland in 1994. He is married with 2 children and has hobbies of golf, piano and reading.
